TradeMe Gets a Christmas Too...
Over 20,000 Ties, Books, Handbags, Kitchen appliances and other items ended up on TradeMe as New Zealanders want to offload unwanted gifts. This is a normal occurrence apparently according to the spokesman Paul Ford.
On TradeMe it is so easy for people to get rid of gift… as long as the person who gave you the gift doesn’t know your member name then it would be possible and you could potential sell the item back to that same person.
A poll over seas names the Fifty Shades of Grey book trilogy as the least popular Christmas gift followed closely by Olympics and weight loss DVD’s and in third place we have the classic onesie jumpsuits.
In a poll stuff did at a local mall they found that Kiwi’s are mostly against the idea of re gifting presents.
Last December one of the top searchers for TradeMe was “Unwanted Gift” so TradeMe are suggesting this year if your wanting to get high search results then using those keywords might be a winner. They also recommend that items should still be in there packaging and intact as much as possible ….
I guess the simple question is if someone gave you Fifty Shades of Grey or a pink tie would you re gift it or would you keep it just to be polite?
