I found Friendly Web the old fashioned way, in the Yellow Pages. I wanted a company that would not only design my website, but talk to me in layman terms so I could understand how a website works, how to get the most out of Google searches and how to manage my website myself. Friendly Web’s advertisement struck me as the type of company I was looking for and from the moment I meet with Karl & Ken I knew I had made the right decision.
They have not only designed my website that receives huge compliments, they have also fulfilled all the other requirements I was looking for. To ensure that my website is being utilised to its best potential on Google, I have chosen to pay Friendly Web every month for their knowledge and expertise and have found this to be of great benefit.

Pacific Events was a new business when they came to us. They didn't really know where to start when it came to:
- Website Design
- Domain names
It was all just a little bit confusing. Helen from Pacific events arranged a meeting with us and the first thing I asked was "so what is it that you do exactly?" Her reply “well we organise and arrange weddings in Vanuatu”. After hearing this we suggested that she change the name of the business as it didn't really explain what it was that she did. So after throwing some ideas around we came up with Get Married Vanuatu. Helen really liked the name and was keen to let us come up with some concepts for her logo.
After creating a logo that suited the business name we were now ready to take on their website. Our goal was to create a website that exceeded their expectations. We did just that. We wanted to ensure that their website wasn't just a good looking website but a website that actually worked.
Being able to provide a total catalogue of services that Helen can organise and provide to her clients was on the top of her list. We decided that it needed to be easy for her to complete this task , so we created a custom component that allowed her to to do this. She has the ability to create an individual page where she could add photos and a description on to the service page. we also created the ability for her customers to be able to send an enquiry directly on that page.
We felt that one of the most important features on the site is the gallery. This was the easiest way to display just how special the day could be. We have created a facility for Helen to update the gallery when she wishes. The gallery allows Helen to put a basic description of the image on and enlarge the image.
When first meeting with Helen she didn't have any wedding packages, we suggested to have a think whether she needed them or not. After having the website live for 3 months we examined the hits and worked out where people were going on her site. After doing this we decided that it was important to have a wedding packages page, as Helen had received some requests for it. It is now the most hit page on her website.
Her website is now her main source of income and is working well, however this didn't just happen overnight. She now benefits from the monthly optimisation and monthly marketing. We truly believe this is the main reason for her success.
After her website went live they decided to do some good old fashioned advertising. They asked us to design some rack cards and business cards. We also suggested that she should get a portable pop up banner for the wedding events she attends. We wanted this print media to have consistent branding that really made Helen and her business stand out from the crowd.
